Meet the Team
The Macmillan Breast Rehabilitation team are based at the Nightingale Centre, Wythenshawe Hospital, MFT.
Karen Livingstone
A Macmillan Clinical Specialist in breast physiotherapy and lymphoedema at the Nightingale Centre. She is leading the improvement in rehabilitation for patients having treatment for breast cancer.
Danielle Shaffi
A Macmillan Senior Physiotherapist, specialising in Breast Cancer surgery and rehabilitation. She aims to complete her Lymphoedema training in the future.
Sue Green
A Macmillan Lymphoedema key worker and registered nurse working in both the Lymphoedema and surgical clinics.

Our Approach
Macmillan and Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) are working together to improve the information we give you during and after your breast cancer treatment at the Nightingale Centre.
We have listened to our patients and their difficulties about getting safe and reliable information in a way that is easily accessible.This website has been developed so that we can improve the information we provide and ensure we give the patient consistent help and advice.
This information will be available in Urdu, Arabic, Mandarin, Farsi and Polish for those whose first language is not English. These translations are in progress and will be loaded as we receive it. If you need help meanwhile please contact your breast care nurse or staff at the Nightingale Centre.
